What this role does
Plan, prepare, and lead ISO/IEC 27001 audits (Stage 1, Stage 2, surveillance, and recertification) in accordance with established audit procedures and ISO/IEC 17021-1 requirements. Conduct information security management system (ISMS) assessments against ISO/IEC 27001:2022, including review of risk assessments, SoA, controls, and documentation. Ensure impartial, objective, and evidence-based audit findings and conclusions. Prepare accurate and timely audit reports, nonconformity records, and audit documentation. Communicate effectively with clients throughout the audit process to ensure clarity and transparency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, and related standards, regulations, and best practices. Participate in auditor calibration, internal quality assurance activities, and continuous professional development. Collaborate with certification decision-makers by providing complete, objective, and consistent audit outputs. Support continuous improvement of internal audit practices and contribute to training or mentoring of junior auditors, where applicable.
What we look for
Certification: Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor from a recognized body (e.g., IRCA, PECB, Exemplar Global).
Working experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the IT or cybersecurity sector, preferably with hands-on involvement in information security management systems (ISMS).
